Russian agricultural machinery exports increased by 56.9% in the first half of the year

According to the News Agency of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, from January to June 2018, Russia’s agricultural machinery exports reached 6.6 billion rubles, an increase of 56.9% compared to the same period index in 2017.
In the first half of this year, the main export enterprises of Russian agricultural machinery were Rostov Oblast Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd. in Rostov Prefecture, Petersburg Tractor Factory in St. Petersburg, Klever Company in Rostov Oblast Prefecture, and European Machinery and Equipment Co., Ltd. in Samara Oblast Prefecture. The biggest demand from foreign farmers is for harvesting machinery, tractors, sowing and tillage machinery from Russia.
In 2018, Russia exported agricultural machinery to 47 countries around the world, an increase of nearly two times compared to 2013. The improvement of the quality of Russian machinery and the production of a series of new machinery have a significant impact on the increase in export volume. By the end of 2018, Russia plans to increase the export value of agricultural machinery to 10.2 billion rubles.
